Meet Kim Speidel
I started playing the piano when I was seven, and continued with lessons into my high school years. I have always loved string instruments and always wished I could play one. In my forties, my husband surprised me with a violin and lessons for Christmas! I took lessons for about 6 years and then joined the Seacoast Community Orchestra (now the Portsmouth Symphony). I was a part of their organization for over 10 years and my most incredible experience was the chance to play in Carnegie Hall as part of a benefit show for charity. Iām happy to be part of NH Scottish Music Club and playing again.
I retired in 2018 from a career in finance and software development. My other hobbies include scrapbooking, knitting and traveling, as well as staying busy with our four grandkids!
