Our music committee has done a great job of putting togethe sets of tunes for our upcoming concerts next May: Bass Hall (Peterborough) on May 10 and the Portsmouth Library on May 17.
This month we’ll be playing through the program, getting some preliminary ideas on arrangements, dynamic details, etc. Please try to have played through the tunes prior to the workshop so that we can hit the ground running. Also, be sure to have the most current version of the tunes.
Following our potluck tea and coffee break, we’ll see if folks want to continue working on the concert sets, play through this month’s tunes (see below), or do our usual jam session. Bring your session book, if you have one.
As always, we also have new tunes for this month, this time from our Tune Master, Alan Wilson. Click here for the dots and here to learn more about them. Print the music and bring it along to the gathering.
